451 Research just released a new report highlighting some updates since their analysts last took a look at cloudtamer.io in 2019. Download the full report to get a detailed take on the updates.

Here's a deeper dive into some of the topics mentioned in the 451 Research report.

Multi-Cloud and Multi-Region

A recent 451 Research survey indicates that "72% of organizations using public cloud are buying from more than one vendor." This reality brings obvious challenges around centralized visibility and control and less-obvious challenges around cross-training. We've written before about our journey to multi-cloud, and we're working on support for additional Azure regions to complement our support for multiple regions in AWS. Support for Google Cloud Platform is on our roadmap for this year.

Compliance Jumpstarts

Our Compliance Jumpstarts for NIST 800-171 and CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark 1.2.0 deliver both comprehensive mapping of controls to cloudtamer.io capabilities and a library of pre-defined cloudtamer.io Cloud Rules to expedite standards achievement. We're releasing more NIST Jumpstarts in the coming months.

Partner Program Updates

Building on our sales partnership program, we're soon launching a training program to enable our services partners. Our services partners have established cloud consulting practices, and we're looking forward to offering a training program that targets the technical aspects of cloudtamer.io as well as best practices around implementation and rollout.

ServiceNow Integration

We pursue technology integrations and partnerships for one main reason - to better support how our customers do business. In this case, the business is cloud operations. Integrating cloudtamer.io with solutions our customers are already using means more opportunities to streamline cloud ops. Our new ServiceNow integration is an example of identifying a common use case and need for many of our customers: connecting the service management request to the cloud provisioning step. Previously, we saw customers bridging this gap with manual steps and labor. Now, our customers can connect the ServiceNow request for new resources to follow-up actions in cloudtamer.io.

servicenow and cloudtamer process flow

After budget approval, cloudtamer.io goes to work setting up the account with the proper budget, compliance, and security boundaries in place based on where the requester is in the organizational hierarchy.

Please reach out to our team to discuss any of these updates highlighted in the 451 report.
