Cloud enablement is about eliminating mundane grunt work in the cloud through the power of automation. Kion not only makes user permissions across cloud providers easy with cloud access roles but also helps eliminate duplicate effort by bringing users from other identity sources into Kion and associating those users into Kion user groups automatically. Not only is using a centralized identity provider a security best practice recommended by the cloud providers but, typically, organizations have already made some effort inside of an Identity Management System (IDMS) that administrators want to take advantage of by integrating their IDMS with Kion instead of adding and configuring users manually. Integrating your IDMS with Kion allows users to access Kion using familiar logins and consolidates user management for administrators.

Kion supports and integrates with many different identity sources. One of these is KeyCloak. Kion's KeyCloak integration supports both encrypted and unencrypted assertion options.

You can watch the associated Feature Friday video or follow the step-by-step documentation here to configure your KeyCloak integration with Kion.
