We're thrilled to share that Kion has been named a finalist in two categories (yay us!!!) in the 2023 SIIA CODiE Awards. The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE Awards are the industry’s only peer-recognized awards program where finalists are determined by industry experts. These awards recognize software, education, information and media products, leaders, and teams for achieving excellence.
This recognition is thanks to the work of all of our Kioneers, but reflects most specifically on the great contributions of our Delivery & Support, Product & Design, and Engineering teams. These teams have worked hard over the past year to make our product great and support our value of turning customers into fans. These recognitions by the SIIA CODiE judges are evidence of the impact our Kioneers have made.
Customer Success Team of the Year Finalist
We have built a customer-centric culture at Kion. Our value, turn customers into fans, is the foundation that our customer success team is built on. The team has transformed the traditional pre- and post-sales process to support customers throughout their entire journey with Kion, rather than having disparate teams for each phase of the process.
Customers work with the same team members from initial evaluation through onboarding to ongoing training and support. The customer success team is composed of industry practitioners that have unique technical aptitude to not only provide customers with technical support for Kion’s platform, but also the technologies of the major cloud providers and complementary solutions and resources.
Best Identity and Access Management (IAM) Solution Finalist
Kion is a repeat finalist in the IAM category this year. We won this award in 2022.
IAM in the cloud has never been more important than it is today. Increasing cloud usage and adoption coupled with a changing economic climate has accelerated old challenges into prominent obstacles for IAM. Kion makes it simple to transfer resource ownership, offboard users and embed the entire process into existing tools like ServiceNow and JIRA. For onboarding new users, Kion makes it easy to add users without leaving users waiting unnecessarily, adding sprawl to existing resources, or creating over-privileged users for the sake of expediency. Kion then automates privilege management within the cloud to reduce risk and eliminate tedious, manual tasking of IT teams.
